I met Silvia a few months prior, in a meeting where she explained all the aspects of the Book 2.0 event “The Future of Reading”, in which I was going to participate as a speaker. From the first moment, Silvia has a way of making you feel at home, simplifying the whole process and making you feel comfortable. When I arrived in Lisbon, I was surprised by the thoughtfulness and care that went into every detail of the event; everything was perfectly organized to make both, attendees and participants, feel welcome. Her ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere is exceptional. Silvia is able to turn an event into a memorable experience.

I had the privilege of working with Silvia as she led the Book 2.0 project when it was first conceptualized back in 2023. Silvia has a remarkable ability to turn visionary ideas and concepts into real life experiences that can drive positive change. Silvia, and the Vanilla Project have played an instrumental role in bringing sustainability within the publishing sector to the agenda within Portugal. Book 2.0 has created a unique platform not just to discuss such issues, but to also continue to drive concrete actions and connection that I hope will leave a lasting impression under her guidance. Here is to helping to create a sustainable future together!

I attended Book 2.0 in Lisbon this year, which Silvia organized and oversaw. It was a terrific event - smart, well-produced, well-paced, media-savvy, a great balance of substance and fun, provocative and informing. And I say this as someone who goes to *a lot* of festivals and conferences. Best of all, Silvia herself was a warm and welcoming host throughout the event, guiding things along with a steady hand and a smile. Can't recommend highly enough.

I would like to emphasize the professionalism of Silvia Pazos and Vanilla Project in the organization of an international event, with numerous public and participants, among them great personalities. From my point of view, everything was perfect. All aspects were taken care of, which shows a fantastic know-how. I can only recommend them for the organization of large and complex events, they will surely carry them out with great success.

Silvia Rodriguez is a powerhouse when it comes to creating and organizing something new. It is my opinion that the big project that we both worked on, the EurAfrican Forum, would most definitely not have been the success it is, if it was not for the dedication and skills of Silvia. She will be sorely missed.

Simply saying thank you is not enough to show my appreciation and deep respect for the work Silvia and her team did at the recent Estoril Conference. Her energy, warmth, and generosity made me feel so welcome. Was a real treat to work with Silvia in Lisbon recently for the Estoril Conferences 2022. We only spent a few days together, but it felt like we had known each other for years. Silvia has great energy, is super hard-working and is extremely passionate.
